By Taxi-Cab
A Taxi-Cab from O'Hare airport should take about 40 minutes and cost about $30; from Midway, you can expect a 30-minute ride costing about $25. Tell the driver that Fremont Place of Chicago is 2 blocks east of Sheffield and just short of 2 blocks north of Addison.
By Public Transportation*
If you plan on using our very good public transportation system called Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), plan your trip using their Trip Planner
. It is easiest to purchase a transit card when you get on the system at the airport. They are sold in varying denominations and the Chicago Transit Authority runs various specials for visitors. They also have an excellent information service - dial 312.836.7000 from anywhere in metro Chicago - tell the operator where you are and where you want to go and they will route you, taking time of day and safety into consideration.
- From O'Hare, take the CTA Blue Line Train (to 54th/Cermak) and exit at Irving Park (20 minute ride). Take the CTA Bus #80 Irving Park Eastbound and exit at Fremont (20 minute ride). Walk about 3 blocks south and you'll see Fremont Place of Chicago on the right side of the street.
- From Midway, take the CTA Orange Line Train and connect to the CTA Red Line Train at Roosevelt (10 minute ride). Take the CTA Red Line Train (to Howard) and exit at Addison (15 minute ride). Walk 1 block east to Fremont Street and about 2 blocks north and you'll see Fremont Place of Chicago on the leftside of the street.
By Driving*
- From O'Hare Airport:
Follow signs to I-190 East. Take exit to I-90 East (Kennedy Expressway) until it merges to become I-90E/I-94E. Take exit 45A for Addison Street. At end of the ramp, turn left at Addison Street. Drive about 3 miles and see Wrigley Field on your left! Go 2 streets to Wilton Avenue and turn left. Go 2 streets to Grace Street and turn right. Go 1 street to Fremont Street and turn right. Fremont Place of Chicago will be on the right side of the street. - From Midway Airport:
Follow signs to I-55 North. Take exit to Lake Shore Drive (US-41 N). Take exit for Irving Park (IL-19). Turn left at Irving Park Road. Go 1 street past Broadway Street to Fremont Street and turn left. Pass 3 streets (Dakin Street, Byron Street, Grace Street) and Fremont Place of Chicago will be on the right side of the street. - From the South:
Take I-55 North or I-90/94 West to Lake Shore Drive (US-41 N). Take exit for Irving Park (IL-19). Turn left at Irving Park Road. Go 1 street past Broadway Street to Fremont Street and turn left. Pass 3 streets (Dakin Street, Byron Street, Grace Street) and Fremont Place of Chicago will be on the right side of the street. - From the North/Northwest:
Take I-90 East (Kennedy Expressway) or I-94 East (Edens Expressway) until it merges to become I-90E/I-94E. Take exit 45A for Addison Street. At end of the ramp, turn left at Addison Street. Drive about 3 miles and see Wrigley Field on your left! Go 2 streets to Wilton Avenue and turn left. Go 2 streets to Grace Street and turn right. Go 1 street to Fremont Street and turn right. Fremont Place of Chicago will be on the right side of the street. - From the West:
Take I-88 East until it becomes I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway). Take exit to I-90W/I-94W toward Wisconsin. Take exit 48A for Armitage Avenue. At end of the ramp, turn right at Armitage Avenue. Turn left at Ashland Avenue. Drive about 2 miles and turn right at Addison Street. Drive less than a mile and see Wrigley Field on your left! Go 2 streets to Wilton Avenue and turn left. Go 2 streets to Grace Street and turn right. Go 1 street to Fremont Street and turn right. Fremont Place of Chicago will be on the right side of the street.
Parking
Deeded parking is available on the premises at Fremont Place of Chicago and ranges between $20-30 USD per night per spot. The streets surrounding Fremont Place of Chicago are reserved for residents displaying parking permits. Cars parked in violation will be ticketed.
